Topik selanjutnya dalam QoS adalah bagaimana cara konfigurasi Traffic Shapping pada router Cisco.
Dalam lab ini kita akan coba melakukan traffic-shapping untuk bandwidth CIR 32kbps dengan BC 8kb, BE 8kb dan buffer limit 1000.

Terlihat bahwa untuk traffic-shape di R1 belum active, karena belum ada packet yang lewat.
Kemudian kita coba test ping dari R2 ke R1, dimana packet ping tersebut kita set sebanyak 100 kali dan besar packet 1500 dengan dont-fragment diset.

Terlihat bahwa pada saat dilakukan ping dari router R2, traffic-shapping sudah berjalan di router R1 dengan tanda shaping active yes.
Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa konfigurasi traffic-shapping yang kita buat sudah berjalan deng baik.
